Value is subjective - just like recognition. What is meaningful for one person isn't necessarily meaningful for the next. However, the value you provide is critical when it comes to getting donors, volunteers and sponsors to come back.
So how do you know if you're providing the right value to your donors?
Its an easy question when it comes to your major donors and larger sponsors - you simply ask! It gets harder when you're talking about your #monthlydonors or smaller one-time donors because there are so many of them.
Then, when you make changes to your program, you don't know how people will react. Will they like the change? Will they stop donating?
Yes all these things can make a monthly giving program tricky! When you do the work and make adjustments that are in alignment with your organizations mission AND your donors you can trust you're moving in the right direction and supporting long term growth for monthly giving program.
