Over the last couple of years, I have spent most of my time reading and practicing certain techniques. It was time to start sharing what I have learned with you guys.
I've been looking through many questions on different forums and found that some people find it difficult to build lists (often overcomplicating things) while others are still not building them quality email list provider.
The old "Wow, that's really cool. I'll implement it sometime" approach doesn't work. "Sometimes" never arrives. But "Now" is already here. Quit procrastinating, guys!
Focus is key to working for yourself. There's no one telling you what you should do. All these different tactics and systems can distract you. If you are working on a different project, it is a good idea to not distract yourself by list-building. Because completing one project is better than starting another 100. List-building should be your next priority.
Now that you have all that in mind, let's move on to the list-building strategies!
To build an email list, you need to have some basic skills. These are the essential skills you need to be able to create an email list.
It is important to choose a profitable niche. This is because building an email list does not mean creating a page to collect leads and then sending traffic to it. To build a profitable list, which I am sure you want, it is about choosing a profitable niche to drive targeted visitors to it.
Let's go back to basics. The simple formula for making your money as a marketer?
1.Find a group of people who have a need. These people are your target market.
2.Finding a solution.
3.Prezenting the solution to your target audience.
If buyers are your market, then you can start implementing step 3. You will make money. However, to make that happen you must first know where to look for the people in your market.
OR
Let them come to YOU!
Find out who your target market is. What keywords are they using? What forums are they most comfortable with? What is their favorite thing? Are they open to freebies? (Again, a yes). Are they active on social media? These are only a few of the questions you should be asking.
Now, let me break down step 3. Once you have a target market list, it's easy to 'present' solutions.
1.SEO
2.Marketing Article
3.PPC marketing
4.Social Media Marketing
There are many more...
To...
Sending out an email.
This is something that most people already know, but I want to make it clear for those who don't.
Although what I'm about now might be confusing to some marketers, I'm certain many of you will agree...
We're going now to learn how to help others and make use of some laws of nature...
When I say "Presenting the solution for your target market '...", it means:
What are you thinking? What do you think about selling them a product/service that will solve their problem?
Sometimes, this is true. But when it comes down to list building, at least in most cases, it's GIVING them a solution to their problems or at least a large part of it.
FREE? Why would they buy anything from me?
You will want to convince the person to enter their email address and name to receive the solution to their problem. You will need to create a squeeze page in order to do this. Your user will receive a piece of information free of charge that will solve their problem. This information is usually provided in the form a free report.
Here's the fun part. Even if you provide all the information necessary to solve a problem, at least one of these things will occur.
The law on reciprocation will be in
If you help someone, even if it is a big gesture, they will be more inclined to do the same for you. You will become more close to them, and you will build a relationship with them using your autoresponder and responding to their emails when possible. People you are familiar with will trust you and therefore your recommendations (advertising/product offers) will be trusted by them.
The hunger for knowledge will kick off in

You don't have to believe it, just take a look at your own face. Many people who read this article have been told many times how to create an email list. Here you are. Even though people may have heard the same thing over and over, most people want to be guided step-by-step or to learn something that will make things easier or more efficient.
You can continue to offer your targeted audience valuable information and paid offers. They will respond if you provide good content and have chosen the right niche.
So now... This is how to build a list step-by-step.
Because I have already written more than two pages, I don't think I can go into much detail here. However, if you need any additional detail, please contact me.
Step 1: Choose a profitable niche.
Market research can take up to days, sometimes even hours. This is now much simpler thanks to the internet. Do you remember the previous list? Well... You can skip the first two steps by doing it in one go. Take your time.
You would usually need to gather information, survey people or brainstorm to identify a need. Also, you will need to conduct research to determine if those in the target market are actually buyers '.... Then you will need to create/find a solution to this need (step 2).
ClickBank has tons of products that you can browse in different niches. If the product's gravity is high, it means that buyers are in the niche. You can accomplish steps 1 and 2 quickly.
2a: Create a lead capture webpage
Also known as a squeeze page '... This page's sole purpose is to convert as many people as possible into leads. A subscriber/lead is someone who "opts in" to your mailing list.
These pages are made up of three main components:
1.The lead capture form. You will find the submission button and boxes that collect first name and email addresses of visitors. This will add them to your mailing lists, which should be linked with your autoresponder service.
2.Introduction/image of the 'leadbait'. This is your free gift to people after they sign up.
3.Benefits - This is basically an advertisement for the benefits your subscribers will receive. This could be a bulleted list, a video or both. Marketing 101: Benefits are what you sell, not features. This means you should tell people how features will help them, not what they are. E.g. E.g. You can access the internet from anywhere.
There are many places where you can find free templates for squeeze pages that can easily be edited in Dreamweaver or MS FrontPage. You can contact me if you need help in finding one.
Step 2b - Setting up your autoresponder
This step is referred to as "2b" because it's impossible to have a lead capture page without somewhere for leads to be stored after they have been captured. They should be saved in an autoresponder email address.
An autoresponder sends messages to your leads automatically based on when they signed up. Let's take, for example, three messages that you have set up. One for each day, one for each week, and one for day1. The first message will go out on the date that the lead signed up. The second one will be sent the next day. And the third will go out a week later. You can then send affiliate promotions on an ongoing basis without needing to do any additional work. After you've set up an autoresponder series, it won't be necessary to touch it for a while unless you really want to (which you probably do).
However, this isn't all that is possible. You can also send 'burst emails', which are emails that can be sent to all of your contacts at once, regardless of where they are located in your autoresponder list.
AWeber is the most popular autoresponder service. Getresponse is also very popular. You can also get some for free if you're looking to save money. While this can be a great idea when you are just starting, it is not advisable as you grow your list. I recommend AWeber.
Your autoresponder gives you the freedom to use your time more effectively and prevents you from sending emails every day.
Step 3 - Get a website to host your squeeze page
Websites are no longer as costly as they once were. A.info domain can be purchased for as little as a few dollars and a.com can be bought for around $10. Web hosting can also be obtained for as low $5 per month.
Although your squeeze page doesn't have to be the entire website, it should be included on the homepage. This will stop people from being distracted and trying to reach your home page to find more information - because they are already there. They can choose to sign up or leave.
Step 4 - Drive traffic to your squeeze webpage
This one is not something I will be going into too much detail in, as there are many traffic-generating tips here.
Sign marketing- Advertise your squeeze pages in your forum signatures
Article marketing Advertise your squeeze page within the 'Author Bio" section of your articles.
SEO It's harder to rank squeeze pages on Google because they are short and therefore harder to optimize with keywords. It is possible to rank them, especially if backlinks are used. It is better to have a "blog squeeze", as blogs rank higher. An opt-in widget is a widget that you place in your sidebar. This is called a 'blog squeeze'.
Social Media Marketing Use social media such as Facebook or Twitter to drive traffic to you web site.
Step 5: Start training your list
This involves sorting through your autoresponder lists so you can strike the right balance between giving value to them and offering them deals.
This is a controversial topic because no one knows how to 'train' your list. This is how I refer to making your list more open to your offers. You may appear selfish if you only send them offers. They won't be willing to do anything for you. On the flip side, if you send them only offers, they may not be open to receiving them. This will result in lower conversion rates and general profitability for your list.
Personal recommendations include sending emails with useful tips, hints, and value. Included offers are a good idea. Your subscriber will always get something valuable when they open your emails. They can choose to accept or decline the offer at their own discretion. They will feel supported and used to receiving offers from them.
Conclusion
Your job is to ensure that your list grows. The more you work, the better your results will be. You can see your business grow organically if you do the work. You must take action before you can achieve this. Good luck!
