It’s 2023 and Gen-Z is in the driver’s seat with over $360 BILLION in disposable income as of 2022! Companies are competing to get their attention and they have more buying power than previous generations, but what do you need to know about this generation? They don’t want to give their money to companies that don’t align with their values or speak to their wants and needs. If you want their loyalty, you need to focus on growing relationships instead of just pushing your product.


Developing Your Brand Values

The first step in building relationships is identifying your brand’s core values and beliefs. These values should reflect the mission and vision you have for your business. Establishing these values ahead of time can help guide you in all aspects of your business from customer service to marketing campaigns. It will also ensure that your consumers know what they can expect from you and your products or services. Gen-Z values transparency when it comes to their purchases so this is an important step for them to see before making a purchase decision!


Engaging Your Audience

Once you have identified your core values, it’s time to start engaging with your audience on social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. This is when your creativity can really shine. Share content that resonates with both your brand’s core values and those of Gen-Z like inspirational quotes, polls, behind the scenes photos/videos, giveaways, etc. Also be sure to respond promptly when customers comment or DM you as this goes a long way in establishing trust between the two parties!

Transparency is key when it comes to developing relationships with Gen-Z consumers as mentioned previously. They want to know who they are giving their hard earned money to so make sure you are open about all aspects of your business such as pricing models, production processes, shipment policies etc.. This will also reduce any confusion or frustration customers may have about how their purchase works which could lead them away from becoming loyal customers in the long run.


Building relationships between brands and their consumers is critical for success in today’s market — especially when it comes to attracting Gen-Z buyers who value authenticity more than ever before! By establishing core values that align with those of Gen-Z, engaging regularly on social media platforms, and being transparent throughout all aspects of your business, you can create a positive connection between yourself and potential customers that will lead them down a path of brand loyalty!
