How to Budget for Soaring Destination Wedding Expenses

Hey Friend,

I am surprised to hear about the surge in destination weddings.?

The Research and Markets’ 2023 Destination Wedding Global Market Report stated that the industry market size was $24 billion in 2023. It is expected to grow to $36 billion in 2024.?

And get this, they're predicting it'll be worth over $78 billion by 2027! It’s understandable everyone seems to be talking about destination weddings lately. But why the sudden boom.?

It seems like there are a few factors at play. People are really craving unique experiences. Travel is becoming more affordable, and it's easier to jet off somewhere special for the big day.

Plus, you know how social media influences travel trends… Everyone wants those Instagram-worthy shots!

But I can see why some folks might be hesitant. I mean, there's a lot to consider – like where to have it, how much it'll cost, who can come..

My Millennial cousins were chatting about it the other day, and those were the exact topics they were going on about. It's not just about picking a pretty location anymore; there's a whole bunch of logistics involved.

I can imagine it's a whole different ball game when you're organizing a wedding from halfway across the world!
