How to Bridge The Gap...

Between where your business is today and where you want it to be!

The most common GAP is not enough money coming in! And this is mostly due to not having ENOUGH of the right customers.

There are FIVE possible reasons for that:

1. You don't understand your customer wants or needs.

2. You are sending our confusing messages.

3. You are not engaging your potential customers with your story.

4. You are not instantly recognisable to your desired audience.

5. Becoming your customer is just too darn complicated.

Ask yourself which one of these is most relevant to you today and start addressing that one this week.

If you don't understand your customer well enough, then you need to start asking questions. Look at you existing customers, the ones you love and see what they have in common.

If your customers are getting confused or don't seem to understand what you are offering, ask some of them what they know about you. Ask them to describe what you do. It may sound too simple, but it is the quickest way to find out if they understand what you are saying.

Are you telling your story effectively, does it resonate with your customers.

Do people recognise you for the products and services you offer? If they don't, then take a hard look at your brand and see if it connects with your audience.

And if you are asking your potential customers to jump through too many hoops, then see how you can simplify the process. You may have systems and procedures in place that are completely redundant, which don't add value to the customer and don't make it any easier for you to serve them. They are "just the way we do things around here". Be brave ditch the unnecessary ones
