How #Brexit & #Remain have turned tribal & allowed us all to play the #politics of #Me

Playwright , broadcaster Bonnie Greer and a women i respect a huge amount, although we do clash from time to time on social media made a really powerful qoute this week on my twitter feed in responses to my concern that Brexit and Remain leaders have totally not just lost the plot, but failed to address the reality as to why come hell or high water if we had a Brexit peoples vote tomorrow, it would still win .

In my view until Councils and Government address the issues that Austerity has caused, the massive rise in poverty in which the Governments own figures confirm a staggering 12 million people in the UK are in poverty and 1.5 Million in Governments own words are destitute creating the largest minority group in the UK, that has no voice, and yet No Political Party has yet to adopt my motion supported by Kath Duncan Equality & Civil Rights Network to give them a voice.

Almost 100 local Labour Party branches and the Labour Party Blackpool conference have supported my motion , demanding that Labour, Greens, Tory , PC , SNP , appoint a minister for poverty and wake up to the reality that Britain does not HATE Europe , but hates the state system that has neglected its duty of care to represent them, and justly feel that business and party politics has got in the way of good governance , blaming Europe for the reason the nation is so angry and divided is to miss the reality for the 12 million , who simple have nothing to lose, 4 Million plus already use food banks , our Welfare state almost bankrupts each and everyone of us , because large multi nationals are able to pay such low wages that the State has to top up workers pay and even then with zero hour contracts the lie is exposed that work is no longer the only way out of poverty.., that in any ones book is clearly a tax payers subsidy to big business , as Bonnie so eloquently stated in response to my anger on this mess we call Brexit " It is a cauldron for Grievance : personal; national; existential...you name it. the least of these is Europe! #Twitter makes itself Grievance Central . Here its #Leave .An easy word ..all encompassing . Most want to leave... something.

I have yet to come across a writer who has been able to be so clear and concise , but Brexit and Remain have not just destroyed the old two party system , but turned us tribal, the party promises are no longer trusted , all politicians and parties are the same is the perception outside London , its survival of the fittest in which our nation defines ourselves not by Left or Right, but Remainers and Brexiteers and in which we will march for our personal Interest but Not for others , as made clear at last weeks low turn out march in Solidarity for the Countries growing Homeless population and to stop the deaths on our streets when our neighbourhoods are awash with empty buildings but with #ME politics we have no time to think of others, to share in solidarity or even click on the link that i have attached here that would force the Government to be legally obligated to protect UK Citizens like Nazanin Zachary Ratcliffe who found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time , and four years down the line Nazanin a UK Mother is still left to rot in an Iran Jail , a 5 year old Uk child Gabriella is without her mother or her UK Dad Richard and its all to much to click on a link and sign a petition that could lead to Commons Debate and Law change as well as Commons Debate on the 2000 UK Citizens left to Rot in Jails around the World..Poverty Could be what defines our life time NOT Brexit , and yet because in poor areas they either don't vote or vote extreme right wing in anger as a call for help .

Next month i will be working on establishing Pop Up Schools , a Safe Zone for Women and LGBTQ fleeing war and forgotten and left to rot like Nazanin in Greece Camps that we all pay huge amounts of cash to keep these people fleeing War and Poverty anything but safe , with all of my team working for free and doing crowd funding pages as Kath Duncan Equality & Civil Rights Network has to do, because there is cash to keep people in Camps , but nothing to support the Women many raped and abused , the LGBTQ people who are fleeing the 72 Countries in which there life style is still a crime and the lack of Sports and youth provision to address the violence because all these people are allowed to do all day is Q for food..when many of these people have skills and talents that we desperately need here in the UK, but because our party leaders are convinced our Nation hates Refuges rather that admits its their failure of governance that is the cause , Sympathy , Solidarity becomes just a sound bite or like the 100 MPs who visited Richard on his hunger strike outside the Iran Embassy who saw it as a selfie opportunity and the far to many MPs whose silence shames us all , but then its #Me Politics its #Me that needs to be reelected . its #Me that needs to look good .
