Thinking into Results is the result of Bob Proctor's years of dedicated study and experience in the field of personal development. Proctor was deeply inspired by two key figures: Napoleon Hill and Wallace D. Wattles.

You may not have heard of Napoleon Hill. He was a pioneering self-help author who wrote the classic "Think and Grow Rich." Hill spent years interviewing some of the most successful people of his time, like Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, and Henry Ford. He wanted to uncover the secrets of their success and believed that anyone could achieve greatness by following certain principles.

Hill faced a lot of skepticism and challenges. Back in his day, personal development wasn't as mainstream as it is now. But through his research, he discovered that having a clear, definite purpose and the right mindset were crucial to achieving success.

Wallace D. Wattles, author of "The Science of Getting Rich," on the other hand, was driven by a desire to help people understand that wealth creation was not a matter of luck or privilege, but a systematic process that anyone could learn. He faced ridicule and skepticism, as his ideas were considered radical at the time.

Wattles discovered that creating wealth involved a creative, rather than a competitive, mindset. He emphasized the importance of visualizing one's goals and taking consistent action towards achieving them.

So what can we learn from both Hills and Wattles??

From Hill, we learn the importance of a clear, definite purpose and the power of thought. From Wattles, we understand that wealth and success are accessible to anyone who approaches them with a creative mindset and consistent action.

These insights are incredibly relevant today. In a world where professional women are seeking more control and freedom in their careers, the principles laid out by Hill and Wattles provide a proven roadmap. They remind us that our mindset and actions are powerful tools in shaping our destiny.

Fast forward to today, and we see countless examples of women who have applied these principles to transform their careers and achieve remarkable freedom and success.

For instance, Sara Blakely, the founder of Spanx, started her journey with just $5,000 in savings and an idea to create better-fitting hosiery. By applying principles similar to those in the Thinking into Results framework, she turned her idea into a billion-dollar empire. Sara's success came from her unshakable belief in her vision, strategic planning, and relentless action. Today, she enjoys the freedom to innovate and empower women worldwide, proving that career freedom is possible when you believe in yourself and take consistent steps towards your goals.

Rhonda Byrne, the author of "The Secret," was at a low point in her life when she discovered the power of positive thinking and the law of attraction, concepts central to the Thinking into Results framework. By embracing these principles, she not only transformed her own life but also created a global phenomenon that has inspired millions. Rhonda’s journey shows us that by changing our mindset and focusing on our desires, we can attract incredible opportunities and achieve the freedom to live our dreams.

And let’s not forget about well-known figures like Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook and author of "Lean In." While not directly a student of Thinking into Results, Sheryl shows many of the principles we teach. Her emphasis on leaning into challenges, setting clear goals, and maintaining a resilient mindset aligns perfectly with the strategies from Hill and Wattles. Sheryl’s success is a testament to the power of these principles in achieving career freedom and leadership excellence.

The Misunderstood Concept of Career Success

What was once misunderstood and attributed to something archaic, like the idea that success is purely a result of hard work and luck, can now be attributed to something proven, scientific, and logical: the power of mindset and intentional action.

Many of us have been unknowingly tapping into these principles in our lives. Have you ever noticed that when you focus on a goal with all your might, things start to fall into place? That’s the power of the principles behind Thinking into Results. The difference now is that we have a system to harness this power deliberately and effectively.

Let’s dive into the Thinking into Results key concepts. Here’s a high-level overview of each phase:

Phase 1: Mindset Shift

Think of your mindset as the foundation of a house. Without a strong foundation, everything else crumbles. This phase is all about breaking free from limiting beliefs and adopting a growth mindset.

Imagine you’re a gardener. Your mindset is the soil. The richer and more fertile the soil, the better your plants will grow.

"Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve." - Napoleon Hill

During this phase, you’ll learn to identify and challenge the beliefs that have been holding you back.

Beware of old habits creeping back in. Stay vigilant and keep nurturing your growth mindset.

Simple Tip: Practice daily affirmations, visualize your goals, and surround yourself with positive influences.

Phase 2: Strategic Planning

Once your mindset is in the right place, it’s time to create a plan. This phase is like mapping out a road trip. You need to know your destination and the best route to get there.

Think of strategic planning as setting up your GPS for a journey. You need clear directions to reach your destination efficiently.

"A goal without a plan is just a wish." - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

This phase involves setting clear, actionable goals and breaking them down into manageable steps.

Avoid setting vague goals. Be specific and realistic about what you want to achieve.

Write down your goals, create a vision board, and review your progress regularly.

Phase 3: Consistent Action

This is where the magic happens. Consistent action is the fuel that drives your journey. Small, daily steps compound over time and lead to massive results.

Imagine you’re building a wall. Each action is a brick. Laying one brick at a time may seem slow, but over time, you’ll have a sturdy, impressive structure.

"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." - Robert Collier

In this phase, you’ll learn to develop routines and habits that support your goals.

Avoid the trap of inconsistency. It’s easy to lose momentum, so stay committed to your daily actions.

Create a daily to-do list, track your progress, and celebrate small wins to stay motivated.

What Happens in Our Bodies During the Phases:

During the mindset shift, your brain begins to rewire itself, forming new neural pathways that support positive thinking. Strategic planning engages your prefrontal cortex, enhancing your ability to make decisions and solve problems. Consistent action taps into the power of habits, which are ingrained in your basal ganglia, making it easier to perform desired behaviors without conscious effort.

Tying it All Together

Think of this process as planting a garden. Your mindset is the soil, planning is the seeds, and consistent action is the watering and nurturing that helps your garden grow. With the right combination, you’ll see your career bloom in ways you never thought possible.

But beware, one common mistake is falling back into old habits. It’s easy to get discouraged and revert to what’s comfortable. Remember, growth happens outside of your comfort zone.

So, what happens if you follow this path? You gain time freedom, career satisfaction, and a sense of control over your life. On the flip side, staying on your current path may lead to burnout, frustration, and unfulfilled potential.

To recap, we talked about shifting your mindset, planning strategically, and taking consistent action. These steps are your ticket to 10x your career freedom and designing a life you love.
