Hello, and welcome to the 4th Edition of my Newsletter.
Over the past 3 weeks, I have been sharing some information on the steps you need to take to build a robust and measurable social media strategy that aligns with your business goals.
If you have set your goals and reviewed your progress against them. Then you will have started to understand what social media can do for your business. Ensuring you can focus n the good stuff and ditch the things that don't work.
Now you have done all of that; it's time to start thinking about your ideal client and who you want to attract...
This will help you to refine your message and ensure you know what your clients want and need to see from you. This isn't about the car?? or where they live. ?? It's more than that.
It's about understanding your ideal client's challenges and how you can help solve a specific problem. This will be underpinned by sharing and creating content that builds 'know, like and trust.'
Not everyone will be the right client for you, and that's fine. But being specific about who you are talking to will make it much easier for you to create content your audience cares about. And attract people who are:
?? Aligned with your values.
?? Understand how you can help them.
?? Value you and the transformation you offer.
?? Trust you to deliver the work for them.
To understand this, you will need to do some research and create a client profile or series of profiles. Ask yourself and your audience the following questions:
1) What is unique about you??Why are you different, and how have you helped people in the past? The transformation you have helped your customers achieve and how you did this is your superpower.
2) Who do you want to work with??Being clear on this will help you to create and share content that attracts more of the right people.?
3) What do your customers need??You might have a brilliant product, but you will struggle to sell it if it's not what people want or need.?
4) What keeps them awake at night??What is your audience struggling with, and how do you solve that problem?
5) Do they know what they want to achieve??Once you know their desired outcome, you can create content that shows how you can help them achieve this.?
6) What do they value??Our values underpin how we do business and influence everything in our lives and our decisions. Understanding your ideal client's values is key to successful sales and marketing.
7) What are they interested in??People are fascinating, and we often bond over shared interests - it's part of our story. Understanding their interests will help you relate to them and also understand their routine.

8) Do they understand the problem you solve??Often we assume people know what we do, but often they don't. This will help you adapt your language, marketing and messaging accordingly.?
9) What is important to them when choosing a provider:?This will encompass all of the above, but it will help you to position yourself as the right fit for them.
10) What stops them from taking the action you need them to take??This will help you handle objections and understand how you can tweak things to ensure they take that action.?
All this information is key to building a realistic portrait of your ideal client, understanding precisely what makes them tick and ensuring you can market effectively to that tribe of people you want to help and are passionate about working with.??
