How to boost your productivity at work with game-changing technology tips

It’s easy to fall into a funk at work. You probably won’t notice it at first, but over time you complete tasks slower, as more and more assignments pile up on your desk. You might think that this added work would be a motivator to kick it into gear, but many people struggle with how to navigate these unproductive periods.?

The good news is that advances in technology have changed the game, providing numerous avenues to increase workflow and productivity. In her recent story, Forbes senior contributor Goldie Chan put together a list of methods to make your work more efficient .?

Chan focuses on how Adobe Acrobat and its AI Assistant can help you absorb information faster and even aid in boosting collaboration for your team. Here are just a few of the methods that she writes about in her story:

  1. Master time management: In addition to setting aside time on your calendar to focus on head-down work tasks, take advantage of technology to help streamline your workflow. Chan recommends Adobe Acrobat’s AI Assistant that “can save you countless hours” by summarizing lengthy documents into key takeaways or answering specific questions you have about the information within the document. Don’t be afraid to have a chat with your own PDF—in 2024, it can be a key collaborator.
  2. Manage work-life balance: Even if you are generally pretty good at logging off by 5 p.m. each day, situations can arise when you get a late message from your boss with an urgent actionable task. With the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app, features such as voice prompts allow the user to easily review and e-sign documents from anywhere. Instead of having to drop everything and head back into the office, you can complete urgent tasks in a matter of minutes.
  3. Embrace continuous learning: Adding to your skillset is a great tactic for getting out of a funk at work, and AI can help. Tools such as AI Assistant or even ChatGPT can be a great starting point when diving into a new topic. For example, you can use AI Assistant in Acrobat or web browser extensions to extract valuable insights from lengthy books and articles, keeping you ahead of the curve while saving time.

Chan dives into even more uses for AI in her full story , such as organizing your workspace or boosting collaboration efforts. Make sure to give it a look and start digging into the ways that technology can benefit you in your career development.

Great point about AI assistants and continuous learning, Forbes! With my background in computer science and entrepreneurship, I'm particularly interested in how AI can be leveraged to develop adaptive learning tools specifically designed for busy professionals. These tools could personalize learning paths, offer microlearning opportunities, and leverage real-time data to optimize skill development. Are there any specific examples of AI-powered learning platforms tailored for professionals that you've encountered??I'd love to hear about them! #AI #Education #FutureofWork #Reynold #CHARLES

Believe it or not, we can not get rid of AI. What we should do is learn to use it well.
