How to Book a Futurist Speaker

"I don't just see the future. I help my clients get there first."

That's been the case my entire career. And it's what has led me down the futurist speaker path. 

There are a number of futurist speakers who talk about what's coming next. But there are a much smaller number of those people who are actual practitioners. I've built a long and successful career out of being a doer.

The fact is I've had a tendency to see the next big thing before it becomes a big thing.

It's likely a combination of my natural curiosity, willingness to take risks and allow things to play out exactly as they do. And I guess it doesn't hurt that I've always been fascinated with technology.

Perhaps it was that fascination which led me to purchase my first computer in 1980. I was 16 years old and the TRS-80 Model I personal computer with 4K of RAM called my name from the moment I first saw it.

It was likely that same fascination that led me to build my first website in 1995. There were only 18,000 websites in the world by the end of the year, and mine was among that number.

It seems my curiosity has led me down numerous rabbit holes over the years, and as a result I've found success in a number of different verticals.

I saw the future with website creation, online shopping, affiliate marketing, internet marketing, iPhone application development, online video creation, live video marketing and the future of digital money. In each case I arrived on the scene as a pioneer or early adopter of the technology. Invariably, I ended up being the guy invited to various events where I would teach others how to leverage these technologies.

And it's been my privilege to work with some of the largest and most influential tech companies i the world. Whether speaking at Microsoft HQ or keynoting for Deutsche Telekom, partnering with Twitter or Harvard University or being an influencer for IBM or Alibaba, I've had the opportunity to bring the future to corporations and small businesses alike.
