How big is your dream

I was open to see that Solution came disguised in all forms.

I had a problem - which as I was working in a very fickle industry where business is booming for a couple of years and flat lines for a few more. That is the construction industry. It is a family business and my father wanted to travel more. I did not want to be stuck working in a location. I also wanted to travel - I wanted to spend time with my Son who is now at University, and my Husband my dogs, and along side my old business team mate my sister. How could I keep these connections and benefits in another business.

Solution came along - About 17 months ago a opportunity presented it self to me - at a time when I had decided conciously not to say no to anything that could help me grow. There was also a stipulation that I enjoyed working with my Sister and family. In business starts ups the cost for product development, supply chain, and brick and morter store, staff and other start up costs were extra-ordinarily high.

So when this Skincare business came along in a box - I was open to trying a new brand of skincare as I found my high end drug store brand was not cutting it - my skin basically had flat lined. LOL

I spoke to my sister and we had a discussion ( like most people you want to have the right people on your team right). We talked about the low start up cost and how we both wanted a change from the ups and downs of construction. My father was in his late 70's and he was our other business partner. My sister and I wanted the time freedom to work, but if we choose to we could do it early or as late as we wanted. My sister is now a carer for her husband who has early onset dementia.

We happily jumped on board and began our journey in 2017 September. Now we knew there was initially with all businesses ( as we had been in construction for 32 years) that there was an inverse relationship between the time we invested early on in our new business to the return in profits. But over time this would flip and we would be well compensated. Remembering that we are both still working a full time job - I need to work on this Side Hustle till I could use it to replace my full time job.

Here was a product my sister and I loved right at our doorstep, from 2 practicing Dermatolgist who had great credientials - they founded a Billion Dollar Brand Proactive. The business was simple. Customers order online - products shipped to them. I make commission on sales of products. What I didn't expect was the through enjoyment and fun that I would get from the people who now were part of this business in support and coaching.

What I didn't expect and was a wonderful surprise was these things

1.    You will grow

Yes. I have full confidence in me, from doing live on facebook, instagram to just opening willing to take photos , sharing stories ( content) daily. Being open to learning more and more about business, branding, social media, copy/content, marketing. I feel like a teenager again at 57.

2.    You’ll have fun

In doing all this, I am having fun ( don't get me wrong) I am not a Millionair YET. But the journey has been so much fun. I have gotten to travel with my Sister/team mate to New Orleans last year to learn more and submerge myself in more growth and meeting other amazing people who are on a Growth Journey too.

3.    You’ll open doors

From Growth, to having fun, this has afforded me the opportunity to have open doors in meeting new people in the various industries around the world that are so giving and sharing with their information.

4.    You’ll be more interesting

I am surprising myself with the amount of information I can freely share now also. I have willingly opened myself up to learning more and upskilling myself ( much like my gaming son). This then gives you more topics or conversations you can have with people in your life.

I picked this Business Model - choose something which has a fantastic reputation with amazing founders.

I set reachable targets - to hit incentives either for reconition or rewards. Again much like gaming ( what ever motivates you).

I set aside some time - depending on your goals and the speed that you want to achieve them.

Find your tribe - luckily for me this Solutioon came with so many amazing tribe members who are supportive ( it was like the box) came with a coach, and cheer squad etc.
