How the Big Four recognized LGBT

The Big Four firms took into consideration that they need to include the LGBT community because everyone has their way of living and believing in their sexuality. Every Big four firm states that the LGBT community makes the workplace culture brighter.

PwC

#PwCPride . At PwC they are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where they believe everyone can be themselves and be whom they want lesbians, gays, bisexuals, or transgender. PwC sponsors some of the pride parades around the world, to show their respect towards the sexual orientation of people, their gender identity, and expressions of the GLOBE CODE OF CONDUCT to their human rights statement. PwC has multiple ways they support the LGBT+ community around the world, supporting the LGBT+ is not just about that it is the right thing to do but also the inclusiveness in the workplace, to appoint more than just who you are and if you are the right race, it's about who you are and where you come from.

PwC has supported the LGBT+ community since 2019 when they organized their first Global LGBT+ summit in New York, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall. The summit brought together 200 PwC LGBT+ leaders from all over 28 countries to share the celebration.

KPMG

#KPMGPride . KPMG states that inclusion and diversity are the core at KPMG, Great teams get created by getting people from everywhere in the world if you with or without the support of the LGBT community, it makes the teams stand up for their values and what they think is right. They celebrate by focusing on merging and the power to drive to a more inclusive future. KPMG believes by strengthening their inclusive culture that the LGBTQ+ community will feel safer in the work environment and that there will always be a priority at the KPMG offices.

(Pride@KPMG) this is a global LGBTQ+ inclusion network, that helps to connect professionals as well as local (pride@KPMG) groups in the world. More than 60 countries became part of the (pride@KPMG) group, to empower the pride of the people.


?Deloitte

#Deloittepride . Deloitte wants everyone that joins their company feels like they are welcome whether they are gay, straight, lesbian, transgender, or bisexual. The LGBT+ is there to feel like everyone can be themselves and be proud of who they are and the culture they will bring to the company, Deloitte will make the community feel like they will be heard and been seen, valued, and appreciated, Deloitte wants to make an impact on the world and communities, so they matter.

Esther’s story: “When we think about visibility, to me it all comes back to representation. If people don’t see the LGBT+ senior leaders around them, they’ll be hesitant to open themselves because of the historical stigma that people have faced being out. And you can’t be what you can’t see.”

Deloitte made a kick-off this year starting the #QueerAllYear throughout the year and not only for a month, but this will also happen on all social media platforms for the globe to see and be part of. In 2021 pride month was celebrated with the words following ‘Can you see me; do you hear me?’ they amplified the voice of the Deloitte LGBGT+ community.


EY

#EYPride . EY is celebrating 10 years of LGBT+ inclusion, they also have the ‘Proud to be Gay’ ad campaign at EY. Like all the Big Four firms EY also wants to create a safe environment for the LGBT+ community and in the workplace for everyone working for them. At EY LGBT+ inclusion has been a success and noticeable in Australia, Canada, the US, and the UK, some of the people and communities in Japan, and Taiwan have implemented LGBT+ diversity in their companies. The LGBT+ is a very important issue that needs to be addressed because no matter where in the world, you can’t expect the LGBT+ community not to work, they are also trying to make a living and income such as straight people.

To EY it is important to create a welcome in inclusion in the workplace, they believe that it is important to share ideas and practice them out.?They hosted a ‘think tank’ with the aim to identify key challenges that the company was facing in the leading practice. They concluded that diversity and inclusion should be one of the concepts of employing someone in the workplace.


The Big Four firms will continue to celebrate Pride month with the LGBT+, to show they support the community not only because they have to, but because they also have to implement the Law of Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace
