HOW THE BIDEN-HARRIS ADMINISTRATION INCENTIVIZED AND PERPETUATED THE BORDER CRISIS

People have short memories. From time to time, they need to be reminded of the facts. When it comes to politics, my memory is long. The Biden-Harris administration would have us believe that they did nothing to spur the advancement (or invasion) of millions of undocumented immigrants across the US southern border.? Therefore, I find it incumbent upon myself to lay out the facts of how Biden-Harris motivated and created the southern border crisis.

·?????? Dismantling of Trump-era Policies: The Biden administration on its first day in office took steps to reverse many of the immigration policies implemented by the Trump administration. This includes ending or modifying policies like "Remain in Mexico" (Migrant Protection Protocols), which required asylum seekers to wait in Mexico for their U.S. court hearings. The dismantling of such policies has led to increased numbers of migrants attempting to enter the U.S.

·?????? Increased Border Apprehensions: The number of encounters with migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border has increased under Biden. The administration’s policies encouraged more people to attempt illegal crossings.

·?????? Received with Open Arms: ?The Biden administration has emphasized a more welcoming approach to immigration. This includes providing cell phones, plane tickets, and hotel rooms. There is no question that these actions encouraged more people to attempt illegal entry in hopes of benefiting from these programs.

·?????? Relaxation of Enforcement: The administration directed immigration enforcement agencies to focus more on processing illegal immigrant’s entry to the US rather than on upholding of the law.

·?????? Title 42 Reversal: The Biden administration ended Trump’s Title42 program, a public health order used to expel migrants quickly during the COVID-19 pandemic making it more difficult to send illegal immigrants back to their home country.

Parole in Place (PIP), Effective August 19, 2024, the Biden Harris administration’s PIP program became law. ?PIP allows undocumented immigrants who have American citizen spouses to receive temporary work permits and legal status. It also allows them to navigate around certain U.S. legal obstacles that currently prevent them from obtaining permanent residency if they entered the country illegally. By obtaining parole in place, these individuals could eventually qualify for green cards and, later, U.S. citizenship without needing to leave the country.

Thanks to an ongoing Center for Immigration Studies Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, the public now knows that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has approved secret flights that last year alone ferried hundreds of thousands of inadmissible aliens from foreign airports into some 43 American ones over the past year, all pre-approved on a cell phone app. A little-known part of the Biden administration's CBP One parole program permits inadmissible aliens to make an appointment to fly directly to airports in the interior of the United States, bypassing the border altogether. Partial data on the program, just obtained by the Center for immigration Studies pursuant to a Freedom of Information Act request, reveals that more than 200,000 people from four countries have used this direct-flight and parole program over the past year.

For three years the Biden-Harris’ administration continued to deny that there was a border problem. It took years for them to be able to finally confirm that the border was indeed a crisis. Today, with Kamala now as candidate, they want us to forget these truths. They want us to believe that their extreme policies had nothing to do with the border and the crime and death that came through it. Keep your eye on the ball and don't be mislead .Let the facts above remind you of the truth.
