How To Become Your Own North Star

I talk a lot about women playing small.

Women holding back, trying to fit in, tone down, be acceptable.

Women having their boundaries trampled over by trusting too much, or showing loyalty that isn't reciprocated.

Women who doubt the soundness of their own judgement and intuition, and allow others' well-meaning caution to temper their dreams.

Women who lose their voice, by being so busy looking after everybody else's interests, they forget about themselves.

Women who self-sabotage, or are in thrall to someone else's saboteur.

Women who hide themselves away, because of fear of judgement or learned shame.

Women who give away their power to somebody or somebody else; sales figures, engagement and likes, a 'yes' from a client.

It drives me mad, and if this is you, I want you to know how inifitely powerful you are.

You've been taught from a young age to fit in.

To be good, and cause no trouble.

To get good grades, and tick the boxes and markers of success.

To people please, and martyr yourself to the point of exhaustion.

But everything you need to live a rich, wonderful, wild life is right inside you.

You just need to open your heart to the feast of infinite possibility right in front of you.

And decide - No More.

Deciding to become your own North Star is the key to this power.

Setting boundaries where you need to, embracing the Sacred No, whilst following the clarion call of your heart.

Stepping into the energy of your Warrior Queen.
