How to Become A Singer!

I wrote this post to help other singers achieve their best. You can be a great singer if you are confident, relaxed, and authentic.

A peaceful mind is the key to singing well.

Q. Why did it take Elaine Elizabeth Presley so long to learn how to sing correctly with her already natural singing voice?

A. 1. We all need vocal coaches, even natural voices, and we never stop learning. Most famous singers have a vocal coach throughout their singing career, just as pilots have ongoing training. There is always something to learn in singing and you always improve with each step. Natural talent can only take you so far, technique and knowledge takes you further. Natural Personality is a big winner.

A. 2. I was discouraged from singing as a child by my peers. I also felt out of place, unwanted, and always wrong. I was sent to a children’s home at the age of 13 because I did not fit in with the family I was placed in. I felt terrible and wondered what was wrong with me. Nothing was wrong. I was in the wrong family and no one told me the truth. I was punished because of who I was. It all started from birth.

I lived the life of a good kid who was made to feel like I was bad, because of who I am. I of course had no clue who I was for a long time and my life was weird.

It took me many years of searching to find my home, and when I did, I had to heal my broken past, my loss, my confusion, and my rejection. I had to learn and see I was a good kid and that being in the wrong family was my problem.

DNA gave me my security, my self, and my knowledge.

Coming home gave me my confidence. I fit in perfectly.

I found myself, my voice, my life, my family, and my confidence.

I found me. Then I was able to sing naturally with the help of my family, friends, and vocal coaches.

But it was not over. I had not yet reached my optimum level of talent, I was still holding back, not knowing how to sing, if I was doing it right, if I was on key, not knowing if my stage performance was any good until it was over and I was told it was. Still, I had, no clue how and what I did, I just kinda was me and it worked.

God had other plans for me, It was not over, more pain was raining on me.

Sometimes God brings good and bad people into your life for a lesson or help. Those people may be good or bad, and God has his reasons to heal you to grow.

I think it also heals the person they send as well because they too have a lesson to learn or lessons and the match made in heaven has a purpose for you both.

I had to be broken down again and I lost everything. This time I was home, I knew who I was and I had confidence. I fell in love and felt truly in love for the first time. Then that love destroyed me. I was heartbroken and for more than two years I was destroyed., Then I lost my Sister, and I will always miss Lisa!

I thought with my love I had a perfect life finally? Nope, not yet! Not so fast.

Then I got back up, and I rebuilt a new me and a funny thing happened. I was broken down worse than ever before in my life. After recovery, I became a new woman. All my past was gone and I was home, happy, and back to being as if none of my past ever happened. I was healed. I was a kid again. 2nd chance.

Being lost, you don’t feel, so what you go through does not hurt as much. Being found, however, you are you and you feel deeply and are vulnerable to being destroyed and devastated.

I was destroyed by my breakup and the loss of my sister. Those two years plus were the hardest of my life.

Then one day through devastation and pain, I realized I was okay, still I remember, but comfortable, relaxed, and working on all my dreams.

In late 2023, I became a professional singer in the real sense that I was finally able to be me. Before I could sing, but now I knew I could sing. Live, stage, and everything fell into place. I knew what I was doing and when I was in tune.

Never give up, because when everything seems that you failed. You then win!

I believe God had to strip me again harder than ever before after I found a home, to clear my past, to give me a new life, a new beginning with my family and life.

That’s the secret! If you are not happy, confident, free, and content. If you don’t know who you are. If you are on a searching journey. If you are lost.

You will never be able to sing correctly.

Find yourself and your confidence will come naturally. Heal all your past pains in your soul, and then release all your insecurities, worries, and fears.

Hold no grudges. Love people, help people, and learn from the good and bad!

You will then find your voice!!!... And you can then live with Happiness!
