You are the painter, the paint and the blank canvas.
When the artist wants to create a piece of art, their own masterpiece, they have a process.
When the great painters like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Pablo Picasso, Rembrandt, Vincent Van Gogh all wanted to create a masterpiece they had to start somewhere.
They had to start within their own mind.
Is this a proven fact? No.
Is this something I think is true and ties into my point? Yes, absolutely.
If they started within their own minds you too can start within your own mind.
They start by seeing how the end product looks like or a sample of it.
In order for them to get to the end product, they start from the ground up.
The artist starts looks at the blank canvas and starts.
Gradually adding layers after layers.
Every new layer that is added can only come after one thing.
After the previous layers have dried up.
This process can take days, weeks or even months but when they are done....
When they are done, the results are phenomenal.
I want you to imagine yourself as this artist, this painter.
In your mind you can see the end result- the future that you want.
The paint and paint brushes are the actions you apply towards the final image.
The drying up of the paint is time that is required to solidify those actions into facts or reality.
The end result is constantly being worked on and improved along the way- This becomes to jaw dropping details.
But it becomes difficult to finalize the paint if your thoughts, beliefs and actions have not come into alignment.
If they aren't all aiming towards the same goal, that becomes the obstacle.
In the last two posts, I talked about how thoughts, feelings and beliefs tie into each other.
As the painter of your future you have to believe in the painting you are about to create.
You have to feel strong emotions that the painting is going to be a success.
You have to think that everything that you are doing is compounding
The beauty about this process is, nobody is capable of seeing the final product other than you.
Maybe somebody comes over and finds the canvas stained with multiple colors like brown and blue and they wonder what the heck is going on.
A big obstacle you will face is to allow their questions, comments and concerns to affect the mental image and goal you have locked away in your mind.
There's a simple way to lock in the image.
So simple like taking a bus to town.
Write it down.

Exactly how you are going to become super detailed when you do it- create your masterpiece.
Write it down the same way.
Describe the colors, the textures, how it smells, the look, how it feels to have completed that and looking forward to starting the next one.
Describe and write down everything.
It is your painting, your reality, your desired future- and nobody can take away that from unless physical actual passing on of you.
This solidifies your idea and it takes it from being an idea into a goal.
You now form the habit of reading the goal every morning or whatever time you work towards it and then get to painting.
In your tool box you know have the idea, the goal, the belief, the thoughts, the daily actions and the emotional connection.
Now you have become the painter of your desire future and all you had to do is churn it out.
Let's be realistic for a second.
Majority of the goals, dreams and aspirations we will have will require an investment.
Investment of time, money, energy and anything else that needs to be put it so you can get an output.
But before all these goals can be achieved especially due to financial limitations, you first have to become the person who is able to handle investing in that future.
This how layering ties into this.
The foundations is the painting skill.
The painting skill was developed due to curiosity and the desire to learn.
Overtime and with consistent trial and error, learning and observing, the tool box now has the paints, the brushes, the oils and everything needed to make the painting.
Because you started with the Big Supreme Goal, other minor goals set themselves like a staircase leading up to the next floor.
You may refuse to climb the stairs and wish for an elevator but the only way up is the stairs, unless your spiderman, you can take the wall.
Even spiderman will use more effort to go up the way than just talking the stairs.
At the end of you reading this article that was meant for you, in this exact feeling of realization, take a book and a pen, open up the notes pad on your phone and write it down.

Your hopes, your fears, your dreams, your goals, your why, your obstacles, your lessons.
Write it all down, let your brain see what you want and what you've done.
From they look into the future, your blank canvas and imagine what you want to paint on it.
