How To Become Omnipresent By Adding Value

It's never been more apparent that we live in a world of scams.? Every week that goes by it appears that we hear of a new scam, someone that we know who had their social media hacked, or someone that we know getting burned in one way shape, or form.? When it is becoming the "normal climate" that we're in, you're actually able to use that to your advantage by doing the complete opposite.
People might forget what you say or even how you say it, but they will never forget how you make them feel. In a prior article I wrote on how although we are more connected now than ever in a digital way, we've become more disconnected than ever.? It appears that the marketplace has also become more transactional than ever... or has it?
I'm of the belief that "when the world says zig, there's a huge opportunity to zag."? For example, back when I was selling cars, I loved the fact that 87% of people disliked something about buying a new car.? That meant that if I could show them how to a part of the small 13% that enjoys it, I'd have a customer for life!?
People naturally want what they don't have, and many people don't have a network of people who are truly "looking out for them."? You can use this to your advantage because once your audience sees that you're authentically trying to help them out, they become more receptive to what you have to offer.? With that being said, here is how you can do that in a cool way, outside of business.
Becoming omnipresent means to appear everywhere, you're able to do this by making a large number of recommendations to your network.? To quote Alex Hormozi, "When you introduce something of value to someone, they associate that value with you."? In other words... you being the source.? When you become the source of several recommendations that can enhance your network's life, they're then thinking of you repeatedly.? This is how you stay top of mind without spending any money.
Here are 3 ways that I personally do this with my network.
Create introductions: When you create an introduction with someone from your network, there is a chance that the relationship will blossom into a fruitful business relationship.? When that happens, you were the source.? If you're someone who frequently attends networking events, you can leverage this by connecting like-minded people from areas who haven't met yet.
Hobbies: This will vary from person to person, however having hobbies that you get really into means that you become a wealth of knowledge in certain areas. For me that involves Music and Craft Beer. Since I've owned a DJ company for the better part of 2 decades, I have an extensive knowledge of music that most people don't. To share that knowledge, I'm able to make people a playlist on Spotify or YouTube and introduce them to new genres. I can also do the same with Craft Beer. I've had countless amounts of people want to "pick my brain" on recommendations when they go to a bar or liquor store. Having this information allows me to stay top of mind out of business.

Books & Documentaries: If there is a book that you have received a ton of value from, definitely recommend it, the same goes for a documentary.??Those who are consistently attending networking events are often into personal development and are always looking for new recommendations.??This can also apply for documentaries along with TV Shows.
In today’s world, buyers are increasingly jaded and skeptical and you can use that to your advantage. Free value is one of the fastest paths to trust, and people do business with those who they know, like, and trust.??When you focus on adding value in multiple areas aside from business, you have the ability to "show up everywhere," and show that you're authentically trying to help your network.
