For as long as I can remember — I’ve loved wolves.?
There’s something about the leader’s commitment to the pack, devotion to family, teamwork — and — how the pack collectively pursues the leader’s goal with everything they have — even if it means risking it all.
There’s no ambiguity when you look into the eyes of a wolf.?
You can clearly see how bad they want whatever they’re seeking.
So my questions for you are — 1) how badly do you want what you’re seeking in 2023?
And — 2) have you clearly communicated the path with your team? Including all the likely obstacles, challenges, setbacks, and wins you may experience as a team along the way.
It’s the communication piece where we often stumble. We assume — and rely on — that somehow our team instinctively knows the goals, the plan, and the path.
They don’t. And candidly — how could they?
We likely haven’t shared the details and we’re not pointing the way as clearly as we could.?
As you prep for Q2 — my hope is that you'll confidently look to your team...and they will see in your eyes how bad you want it.
And then help them go out and get it by leading the way.
