- Proper design of aeration system: Ensure that the aeration system is appropriately designed and scaled according to the tank size and aeration requirements. Use suitable aeration devices such as membrane diffusers or air stones to ensure even distribution of air throughout the tank.
- Uniform placement of aeration diffusers: When installing aeration diffusers at the bottom of the tank, ensure that they are evenly distributed throughout the tank. Follow MBBR design guidelines to evenly distribute the diffusers to ensure uniform release of air.
- Control aeration uniformity: Monitor and adjust the operation of the aeration system, paying special attention to the uniformity of aeration between adjacent diffusers. Assess aeration uniformity by observing foam formation at the gas outlets, movement of suspended solids on the water surface, and the rising speed of gas bubbles in the tank.
- Regular cleaning of aeration equipment: Regularly clean the aeration equipment inside the tank to remove any dirt or deposits that may accumulate on the diffusers or air stones. This helps maintain the proper functioning of the aeration system and improves the uniformity of gas transfer.
- Level control: Maintain a stable liquid level in the MBBR tank. Changes in liquid level can affect aeration uniformity. Use level sensors to monitor the liquid level and take appropriate control measures to keep it within the specified range.
- Regular inspection and maintenance: Periodically inspect the operation of the aeration system and check for blockages or damages in the diffusers, aerators, and distribution pipes. Perform necessary maintenance and cleaning to ensure the proper functioning of the system and prevent issues with uneven aeration.
