I am in niche/vertical of running call only Ad for telecommunication carrier like Direct Tv, Spectrum, Xfinity etc, so whatever I would talk in this article would be in regards to call only ad and addressing some myth, which are not true and people believe it.

In order to avoid your account being suspended because of suspicious payment activity, you need to follow these steps:

While creating email make sure First and Last name should be same as on debit/credit card. See the screenshot below

Click on the right top bottom on chrome where your email sign would be shown and go to Manage your Google Account.

Add your payment method from here and it would automatically be transferred to your Google Ads account.

Using this method the chances of your account being suspended would be next to zero, even though if it is suspended it would be reinstated.

Most probably you will get the following type of email once your account get reinstated.

Myth number 1- You cant use card associated with suspended account, its against my personal experience. I have several account successfully running using the same card which were previously suspended.

Second major reason of account getting suspended:

Once you have moved from suspicious payment activity the second major reason of account getting suspended is because of your landing page/website

The following details must be added:

1. Privacy Policy
2. Refund Policy(Related to carrier refund policy)
3. Promotional Pricing period
4. Distinguishing yourself from the carrier like Spectrum, DTV, XFINITY by adding disclaimer like this:

 Words to Avoid on Your Website:

Never use the words like best, speed without using the word up to, and if you are mentioning price in your ad copy make sure its available on your website.

Branded Vs Non Branded Keyword:

In general branded keywords are allowed, make sure you dont write any branded term on your ad copy.

Finally things to avoid on ad copy:

Once again do not write any branded term on your ad copy and do not make claims like best, speed claims without writing upto and channels claims without writing upto.

How to give greeting:

There are certain requirement of google for call only ad- whenever you pick up phone say call is being recorded and identify your business name or even better say your domain. Otherwise, people usually complain that there account got suspended because of branded keyword not knowing the real cause.
