How Australians Give Infographic

It is encouraging to read the findings of a recent study undertaken by Australian Communities which found that 4 in 5 Australians give financially with seventy one percent identifying that their choice of charity is motivated by knowledge and trust.

Through one of the largest studies undertaken, the results provide insights into why people give, and how not for profit organisations can engage with givers.  The cause is key with eighty six percent of Australians indicating that this has the most influence.

Not surprising, people want to be thanked rather receiving repeated requests, with a desire to see less spent on administration and promotion.
