Influence takes awhile to build up. It is the sum total of everything you’ve ever done for other people, especially in the workplace, so obviously that takes some time to build. We also call this our Reputation.

But Sometimes we fail to influence for a variety of reasons: They don’t actually like our personality, they feel used instead of empowered, and they even can just ignore everything we do because they are so engrossed in their own lives.

But if you want true influence, if you want people to like you, if you want people to think about you, you got to give them a constant reminder that you exist and then build that relationship with as much value as you can give out.

That’s a big reason why I write this Newsletter everyday. It’s an action I do to show the world what kind of impact I want to have. So I ask you, what will you sacrifice to be able to have the type of type of influence you want?
