Perfect, now that I have your attention, let’s dive straight into it: how to generate more quality clients to your practice by leveraging the power of 5 star reviews and testimonials. I want to share with you a cool story later on in the article - how I managed to generate over FIFTY 5-star reviews in less than a month (which increased traffic to our website, increased our social proof, AND got our existing patients talking about us in and outside the clinic).

Firstly, let’s establish why testimonials are not just good for your practice … they are CRITICAL!

If you’re a business owner, you know that in the world of chiropractic care, the power of a positive patient story cannot be underestimated. It's more than just a review; it's a personal account that can resonate with potential clients on a deeply relatable level. Leveraging patient testimonials is a crucial strategy in building trust and authenticity for your practice, but also attracting more loyal potential clients.

How We Managed To Generate 50+ Reviews From Our Existing Clients (in less than a month): In my experience, you can generate testimonials and reviews from clients in a million and one ways. The question is, which is the best and most effective way? The answer is simple - the one that suits your “practice personality” best.

Some practices like to have video testimonials with the Doc in the room; some like to have Google reviews only, some use platforms like TrustPilot; some have high quality, expensive production videos with clients walking around the clinic etc … in my practice … we do them all. HOWEVER, one strategy has worked for us FAR more effectively that everyone else… In House Competition

Yep - a good old event where your existing clients can compete, about something exciting with a chance to win a freebie (in exchange for an honest review).

There are many ways you can set this up. You can get very creative, but this is what we did a few months ago and it worked a treat: 1. We bought a skeleton for the clinic.

2. Randomly placed him in reception where all clients can see him/her.

3. We let people talk about “how strange” it was for a few days.

4. And then we set up a competition on “Name The Skeleton” who is our “newest member of the team”.

5. The more name entries people had, the higher % probability they had to win our awesome prize which was worth about £200.

Just imagine the amount of “talk” that could generate between your patients (and staff)!!!

I can’t go into too much detail on exactly how we set up the campaigns as it will take too long (but if you want to know, you can always get in touch with me and I’ll be happy to help). But it really didn’t take long. And it didn’t cost us ANYTHING (apart from the cost of the prize) … (and the skeleton , but he was definitely an investment). We used email marketing and in-house advertising to talk to our clients about it. We did this for about 3-4 weeks, and the results were incredible. I couldn’t believe that we had more than FIFTY 5 star reviews during that competition.

Once everyone entered the competition, we randomly selected the winner and posted it on social media, tagged them, and got them to repost it (which also helped with social media presence AND community building for your practice).

It is honestly such a simple and yet effective way to increase your clinic's social proof, enhance credibility, and build even more trust in your local community.

Don’t even overthink it: just use your imagination, and start collecting lots of nice reviews that you can then share with staff and other patients.

A Quick Pro Tip: Make it easy for satisfied patients to leave reviews (even if it’s not during a competition). In my clinic, we bought a contactless Google Review Card (which we now use after the competition also).

In summary:

- Come up with a BIG talking point.

- Run a creative competition ( leave us a review and enter with a chance to win X).

- Get everyone talking about (staff and clients).

- Run the campaign for 4 weeks.

- Draw the winner and enjoy all the 5-star reviews.
