The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), a flagship initiative of the Government of India, is a game-changer that promotes innovation and entrepreneurship in the healthcare sector. Through its Atal Innovation Policy, AIM has managed to create a supportive ecosystem facilitating start-ups to develop groundbreaking solutions in critical healthcare challenges.

In India, the thriving R&D ecosystem within start-ups plays a vital role in shaping the future of the healthcare industry. Companies like Pfizer have collaborated with Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) to create futuristic healthcare innovation.
This is the best time for Indian start-ups to rethink healthcare innovation as India becomes a healthcare destination.
Various areas where start-ups can focus are Data Digitization, Prevention and Early Detection, Non-invasive medical devices, Capacity Building, and Diagnostic Tools for CVD, Cancer, and Eye Diseases and Healthcare Workers.
