How To Assign A Partner To Your Facebook Business Manager Ad Account

Facebook created the Business Manager as a way to assign multiple employees and / or agencies to the assets of each business (Pages or Advertising Accounts) on Facebook. Once you have set up your Facebook advertising account through the business manager, you may want to assign it to an agency so that it can work on your account. Here are the steps to assign a partner to your Facebook ad account at business.facebook.com.
Step 1: Go to Business Settings
Once you are logged in to Business Manager, click "Business Settings" on the right side of the page.
Step 2: Click Ad Accounts
Click on "Ad Accounts" in the left column.
Step 3: Choose the Ad Account and then click on "Assign partner"
Before you can assign a partner, choose an ad account that you want your partner to have access to. After choosing an account, click "Assign Partner".
Step 4: Assign an ad account using your partner's Business ID
At the bottom of the window, Facebook gives you the option to assign a partner using the business identifier that your advertising agency should have provided you with. Click on this option.

Choose the role you want to assign to your partner (in the case of Wolf Marketing, select Admin).
Admin: select this option if you do not have a person dedicated to managing your Facebook account and you want their agency to have full access to your account and page. This allows your agency to update your billing information and also create advertisements such as "Offers" or "Videos" that must be published on your page before the advertisements are published.
Manage campaigns: Select this option if you have a dedicated person on your team to help the agency with its advertising needs, such as billing information and ads that require offers or videos. If there is a problem with your billing and your team is absent or unable to respond, your ads will stop running until your team can update the billing information.
View performance: Analysts review the performance of their campaigns, but will not be able to edit or modify anything.
After choosing a role, type in the ID and click "Next".
Please note that there is a difference between adding a person and assigning a partner.
Assign a partner: You will give the account access to the partner agency, not the employees. Use this option to add an agency to your account.
Add people: You will assign the person as an employee of your business (within your business administrator account). Use this to add other people to your business (coworkers).
Step 5: You are done!
Your agency will receive a notice saying that your agency can now access your account.
