Artificial intelligence could help airlines plan their schedules more efficiently, and help airport operator optimize their revenue streams
Underpinned by this new mode of working, AI can help airports make better decisions, using data analytics to help them run their BHS as efficiently as possible. AI applications in existing BHSs ensure increased safety, improved passenger experience, and reduced luggage loss, while helping to prevent smuggling of contraband.
Flight route optimization – performed by a machine learning-enabled system that finds the optimal flight route, saving money by reducing operating costs and increasing customer loyalty. Various airline attributes such as flight efficiency, flight navigation cost, fuel consumption, and expected congestion can be analyzed for this use case.
Artificial intelligence could help airport staff identify which passengers to screen faster and more accurately
AI has the potential to significantly improve the performance of airport security equipment by automating this process, allowing passengers to check-in, drop bags and even board planes faster and more smoothly. Thanks to facial recognition technology, passengers don't need to show their passports to board the plane. When a passenger passes through the security check, the face recognition system has already recognized and verified the passenger's identity. This shortens the time required for security checks, reduces queues, and helps airports become more efficient.
By using artificial intelligence technology, airports can improve passenger experience by reducing waiting times in queues. AI-driven solutions can monitor and analyze passenger flow through airport facilities, identify crowd patterns and bottlenecks, estimate wait times, and use these insights to optimize queue and crowd management. Airports can also use data on passenger movements, behaviors and habits, for example to treat VIP passengers individually.

Artificial intelligence could automate some airport security processes
Similarly, airports use artificial intelligence through techniques such as machine learning, which automatically analyzes machine hazard data. One of the AI breakthroughs at airports is the check-in intrusion detection system, which actively differentiates between luggage and people to warn of baggage system intrusions. Various solutions have been tried, but all are relatively complex, for the scenario of children accidentally breaking into the system while playing, or malicious intrusion. Registering AI turns out to be the most efficient way to solve a very difficult problem.
Crucially, AI systems improve as more and more information is fed into them. In the case of airport security, machine learning can be used to analyze data and identify threats faster than humans. Items that previously had to be scanned individually, e.g. a laptop may remain in a passenger's luggage when going through security.
Conclusion
Also we use the exact same prompt as the previous article, this AI platform returned a very different result. I find it more interesting in terms of contents, but I wish it came up with a conclusion on its own to structure the content a bit more. I will generate a 3rd and last test in this experiment, with yet a different platform.
