In some other instance, there can be elements of diversionary works required to be done but may not be economically feasible for the statutory undertaker to undertake. These works fall under contestable elements such as civils (i.e excavation to retrieve newly abandoned assets or to install and lay new pipes/ducts/mains, and reinstatement following either of the exercise: permanent or temporary.
