Scholarship programmes from other government entities
Apart from MoE, there are other government entities that provide internal and/or external scholarships for UAE students according to certain terms and conditions. Some of these entities are:

- Scholarship Office (SCO) at Ministry of Presidential Affairs: SCO selects outstanding Emirati students to travel abroad to pursue education at prestigious international universities. SCO administers two scholarship programmes: Distinguished Student Scholarship (DSS) and Study Abroad Scholarship Programme (SASP).
- Department of Education and Knowledge: The department provides scholarships to distinguished UAE students by partnering with organisations throughout the UAE. Scholarships are available in disciplines such as science and technology, teaching, urban planning, food control and transportation.
- Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA): Through its ICT Fund, TDRA offers Betha programme for undergraduate and graduate students wishing to study ICT-related subjects. The Betha programme has provided hundreds of scholarships for bachelor and master’s degrees and enabled Emirati students to study in the UAE, the USA, Australia and Japan.

- Arab Space Pioneers’ Programme: This is a programme launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to train young Arab researchers and engineers in space science and technology. The programme offers scholarships for students who want to pursue a master's degree or a PhD in space-related fields at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) or the UAE University (UAEU).
- Abu Dhabi University (ADU) Scholarships: ADU offers various scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students who want to study at ADU. These scholarships include: Academic Excellence Scholarship, Athletic Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship, Family Tuition Waiver, Merit-Based Graduate Scholarship and H.H. - Khalifa University Scholarships: Khalifa University offers several scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students who want to study at Khalifa University.
