How To Apply For A Job Without A Cover Letter

In earlier articles, I've discussed why cover letters can cause your resume to be screened out by Applicant Tracking Systems.

And I've also discussed how cover letters hurt your chances to get your resume through HR, recruiter, hiring manager?screening. They can even reduce your chances to advance in the hiring process.

While this is great news for you job seekers who hate writing cover letters, it raises additional questions:

• How should you apply when a cover letter is asked for/required in the job description?
• What should you do when an application won't let you submit without including a cover letter?
• When sending your resume via email, what should you do (you can't expect a stranger to open a blank email with an attachment)?
