How to Apply for Fully Funded European Scholarships

European scholarships refer to funding opportunities provided by various European institutions, governments, organizations, and foundations to support education, research, and cultural exchange programs within Europe and with international partners. These scholarships aim to promote academic excellence, cultural diversity, and international collaboration by offering financial support to students, researchers, professionals, and artists from both European and non-European countries.

European scholarships can cover a wide range of fields and study levels, including undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and postdoctoral programs. They may fund tuition fees, living expenses, travel costs, research projects, and other related expenses depending on the specific scholarship program.

The European country seems like one of the easiest country to relocate to these day, be it for study, work, or business establishments.

Here are some available European Scholarships and how to apply for them;

1. Erasmus+ Programme:

Application Process: https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/

• Students should first check if their home institution participates in the Erasmus+ Programme.
• Contact the Erasmus+ coordinator at their home institution to inquire about available exchange opportunities.
• Submit an application through the home institution's international office, usually including a motivation letter, academic transcript, language proficiency proof, and possibly a reference letter.
• If selected, students will receive further instructions regarding the exchange period, courses, and funding.

2. Fulbright Program:

Application Process: https://www.fulbrightscholars.org/

• Visit the official Fulbright Program website to review available scholarships and eligibility criteria.
• Contact the Fulbright Commission or U.S. Embassy in your home country for specific application instructions.
• Application requirements typically include academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, a personal statement, and possibly standardized test scores (e.g., TOEFL, GRE).
• Shortlisted candidates may be invited for interviews before final selections are made.

3. Chevening Scholarships:

Application Process: https://www.chevening.org/

• Create an account on the Chevening website and carefully review the eligibility criteria and application timeline.
• Complete the online application form, including personal information, educational background, work experience, and career goals.
• Provide required documents such as academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, a personal statement, and proof of English proficiency.

4. Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships:

5. DAAD Scholarships:

• Review the eligibility criteria and required documents for the specific scholarship program.
• Create an account on the DAAD portal and complete the online application form, including personal details, academic background, and study plans.

6. Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Actions:

Application Process: https://marie-sklodowska-curie-actions.ec.europa.eu/

• Check the current open calls for Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Actions on the European Commission's website.
• Review the specific requirements and eligibility criteria for the desired funding scheme (e.g., Individual Fellowships, Research and Innovation Staff Exchanges).
