  • Obtain language ability that is equivalent to CLB 7 (Canadian Language Benchmark) in English or French in all four abilities, i.e., writing, reading, speaking and listening
  • Have a foreign credential (certificate, diploma, or degree) and submit Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report for the same?
  • Score minimum 67 points out of 100 on the FSW points grid

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

PNP is another popular option for immigrating to Canada. Through PNPs each Canadian province and territory selects and nominates foreign skilled workers who meet specific provincial needs, both economic and labour market.

Interested candidates can either apply directly for any specific PNP stream or through Express Entry aligned PNP streams. For Express Entry aligned streams, candidates must create an Express Entry profile and demonstrate that they are interested in a province or territory.

Once you enter the Express Entry pool by meeting the minimum requirement of any of the three programs, your profile will be assessed by different provinces. If any province finds you eligible, you will get a NOI, i.e., Notification of interest to apply for provincial nomination.?

If you are granted a nomination, you'll get additional 600 points against your overall CRS score, which will virtually guarantee you of obtaining an ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canada PR.
