How to Alleviate Pressure

Hello friends, it’s me again here to offer you quick yet effective ways to promote your AWARNESS for wellness.

?

In my last newsletter, we talked about how the “angry bird” can fly out of nowhere and kick-up a ruckus and get the best of us.

?

By listening to your “little bird” you can acknowledge your feelings and emotions, give some space for yourself to simply FEEL what is coming up for you. Because whatever you resist persists...think about that.

?

When you deny yourself these sensations, the pressure builds, and your mind/body can only take so much. Eventually you will explode or implode or worse, experience physical and mental complications which form dis-ease within yourself.

?

It doesn’t have to be that way, even if your mind tells you differently. YOU have the power to become aware of the signs of “activation” and DO something for YOURSELF that will help you find immediate relief.

?

Here is where you find a “quick release,” just like a pressure cooker pot, tensions can build up in your mind and in your body (remember your body is constantly responding to your thoughts), you can feel the tensions, heaviness, and pressure building.

?

When you acknowledge HOW you are feeling and not going into the WHY-“stories of other people or situations that set you off.” Instead, ACCEPTING where you are in the moment, finding a safe space, closing your eyes, and then simply taking a nice deep breath in through the nose and a longer exhalation out through the mouth like you are blowing through a straw.

?

You might need a few applications, so allow yourself this time to reset your mind and body by building your Emotional Intelligence ~ working from the inside out!

?

In fact, you do not have to wait until you feel the pressure, or witness your “angry bird” fighting itself, you can CHOOSE to place your Attention on your Intention to your wellness throughout the day, and take a breath break ANYTIME.

?

As I shared a simple yet POWERFUL practice with the 5 Principles on my YouTube channel and how you can use this practice is to set the tone for the day; by breathing in peace, gratitude, and/or appreciation for yourself and others helps to relieve stress and tensions in your mind & body.

?

I appreciate YOU, and if you would like to work 1:1 with me please check out my website here for services, sign up for my monthly free Restorative Meditations, or simply reach out and let me know how you are Living With Intention.

?

Next, I will share with you how to “Turn Worry into Wonder,” so you can experience more peace and clarity in your professional and private life!
