Artificial intelligence is the biggest technology revolution that has the potential to meddle almost all slants of human existence. So there is no wonder why educational institutions are rushing to catch up with the pace to produce more talent to keep the locomotive of AI running.
Since the inception of AI, ways of teaching have evolved significantly, now it becomes more structured across the globe to give more streamlined results. And we are witnessing a paradigm shift in the teaching-learning process that will lead to more advanced educational systems for better impartment of knowledge.
AI has made learning more collaborative to achieve better outcomes.
Let’s see how Artificial Intelligence is shrinking age-old accessibility gaps and enabling tailormade learning experiences for different learners with varied needs.
India's AI (artificial intelligence) spending is expected to grow at a CAGR of 30.8 percent to touch USD 880.5 million (around Rs 6,490.6 cr) in 2023, research firm IDC said on Wednesday.
AI offers hyper-personalization
Because of AI, now personalize learning for individual students is being possible. Through the power of machine learning, AI systems are being used to generate a custom learning profile of each student and customize the education materials for each student based on their needs, experience, and preferred mode of learning. According to research “47% of learning management tools will be enabled by AI capabilities by 2024 and will reach over $6 Billion in market size ”.
Previously teachers used to create a single curriculum for all students, however now teachers will have augmented intelligence assistance that provides a wide range of study materials leveraging the same core curriculum to feed the distinct needs of each student.
In extension to customized materials, AI systems are being used to strengthen learning with personal, conversational education bots. These automated bots can answer questions from students, provide help with learning or assignment tasks, and augment concepts with additional materials that can help bolster the curriculum. These intelligent assistants are also intensifying adaptive learning so that students can learn at their own pace or time frames
Summing Up
In the future, you can expect AI and machine learning as a core part of all educational experiences. The rapidly rising visibility of AI has led many educational institutions to expand the provision of online education content. Artificial Intelligence is showing its greatest parks and applications to a wide range of educational needs, and hope it will significantly improve overall learning outcomes for all.
