Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the automotive after-sales sector, providing new solutions that drive efficiency and enhance Customer satisfaction. Today, many service departments and dealerships are adopting innovative AI-driven tools to streamline operational and commercial processes.
A standout example is the Numa platform, which is revolutionizing service department management in over 600 dealerships. Numa automates tasks such as booking service appointments, handling missed calls, sending status updates to customers, and coordinating interdepartmental tasks. Additionally, Numa has the capability to train service advisors, improving their sales skills by suggesting additional repairs, which can increase the average service ticket value. This innovative approach leads to faster response times and significant revenue increases while enhancing the overall Customer experience.
Another promising solution is SparkServ , an AI platform that integrates with Customer relationship management (CRM) systems and dealership management systems (DMS), providing business development center (BDC) agents with detailed vehicle history data and information on services previously declined by customers. This integration allows agents to make more personalized and compelling service proposals, improving the acceptance rate of additional services. Moreover, SparkServ automates follow-up calls, reducing unproductive contacts and maximizing team efficiency.
Tools like Brooke.ai are also showcasing the power of AI in after-sales. This digital assistant uses voice technology to handle customer calls, schedule return service appointments, suggest preventive maintenance, and even correctly pronounce customer names, all done automatically. By integrating with platforms such as Cox Automotive’s Xtime, Brooke.ai can identify additional service opportunities based on each vehicle’s history, helping dealerships increase their revenues.
Evenflow is another tool that is changing how dealerships manage their operations. This AI platform analyzes various factors, such as parts availability, employee vacations, and peak demand times, to optimize repair schedules. This approach not only improves service efficiency but also ensures a fair and objective distribution of work among technicians, which increases team satisfaction and retention. EvenFlow has demonstrated that by improving service scheduling, dealerships can significantly boost revenue per repair order.
These solutions are just a few examples of the vast potential of AI in the automotive industry. By automating routine tasks, these tools allow service teams to focus on higher-value activities, increasing productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall dealership revenues.

1 个月Congratulations Ricardo for sharing your ideas about the need for AI tools usage, an area that I am passionate about and particularly enjoy studying. Fully agree with your final comments. In fact, digital transformations and the use of AI are a huge challenge, even greater because most Dealers are "not yet ready" to adopt, but they will. It is therefore an even greater and more motivating challenge.

1 个月It's great to see AI tools being used in the dealerships. Are there any companies that help the sales people become more knowledgeable of the EVs they are selling? That, in my opinion, is a great business opportunity because even on the ICE side there's sometimes knowledge gaps.
