Transfer gift card to bank account Venmo

Venmo does not currently allow users to transfer money from a gift card directly to a bank account. However, there are a few workarounds that you can use:

  1. Sell your gift card to a third-party gift card exchange. There are a number of websites that will buy your gift card for cash, which you can then deposit into your bank account. However, keep in mind that you will typically receive less than the full value of your gift card when you sell it to a third party.
  2. Use a peer-to-peer payment service to send money from your Venmo balance to a friend or family member, who can then transfer the money to your bank account. For example, you could use PayPal, Cash App, or Zelle to send the money. However, keep in mind that there may be fees associated with using these services.
  3. Use your gift card to purchase something online or in-store, and then return the item for cash. This can be a risky option, as some stores may have restrictions on returns.

This is incredibly wrong from step one. You need a zip code for the card, which it is not connected to.
