Every closet I’ve been in either virtually or in person has the “oh this is what I wear for Christmas” top or pants.

Usually, there is red or velvet involved each and every time, and other than Santa himself, we don’t need to wear the same outfit year after year.

Put away that red sweater you’ve worn for the last 10 years and those ornament-printed velvet pants, and get inspired with these simple tips that turn a basic outfit into a party one with some sparkle to brighten up your gathering.
