ACHIEVING CONTINUOUS BUSINESS GROWTH & INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP

WHAT IS THE SECRET OF SUCCESSFUL ORGANISATIONS THAT MAKES THEM LEADERS ?

There are many good organisations but not all make it to the famous and awesome organisations.

Many stereotype their structure and working style and get stuck up.They make the mistake of over stressing on existing structure and working methods, ending up with disappointing organisational performance and disappointed employees.

There are three levels of business growth which focus on different areas without loosing the strengths built on during the previous levels.

The interesting part in business is that organisations cannot go to next level without the much needed change in focus.We see many organisations trying shortcuts of perceived aggressiveness,employe cuts,induced organisational politics hoping to achieve sudden and higher levels of growth.However this results in Cultural disorder, morale loss of employees and lack of team coordination.

In the first level of business growth, both individual and team performance depends on system strength and implementation at various levels right from top management down to operating level.Here the growth will be proportional to the strength of organisational setup and systems built on this.On this level focus is basically on efficiency, effectiveness, synchronisation of activities,elimination of waste activities, working towards common goals and objectives. This applies to the extended arm of the organisation, your supply partners. At this level of business,organisation has the achieved operational leverage to deal with internal resources to its full advantage and thereby tackle the external business elements whatever it may be.The business growth is on a tacit level.

In next level, focus is on building an organisational culture centered around vision,mission strategy and leadership coupled with system advantages already built.Here the growth will be much higher than the advantages of working with common values,common culture and team spirit as several leaders come up unlike a single top leader commonly seen.

The organisation becomes dynamic and the external business elements are influenced to a large extend by the organisation.The supply partners also work along with the organisation for adding value to products or services by the organisation.The business growth is on a responsive level.

The next level is achieved and sustained by only a few among the crowd, which makes them the business leaders.The organisation work for innovations,breakthroughs and market leadership there by defining the external business environment itself and setting benchmarks.The focus is on creativity,new technology, human resource development, learning,value addition,opportunities etc. The supply partners becomes equally capable of giving there own value addition independently.They become highly reliable and partners in real sense.

In this level, micromanagement of activities is done almost fully by the lower operating levels.The middle level leaders work largely on product development,learning and value addition.The top management works on the untapped potentials and grooming next levels leaders for the new environment.The business growth is on a creative level.
