As I began writing this piece of content, I was sat at the back of the room listening to my mentor share his knowledge, knowhow and wisdom
And here’s the thing; he’s been my mentor for over 10 years, and I had heard this content a number of times – and when I say a number of times…I’m not joking…1000s of times.
Infact, this content is also knowledge and knowhow I share with my clients too in a way that it can benefit them with their LinkedIn Marketing journey. So think of it as ‘paying it forward’.
And then today, during our weekly accountability calls, my client said something to me. He said that one of the reasons he was so happy with his decision to invest in me – was because I was always learning; mentioning mentors and coaches I learn from and sharing the knowledge learned to help him advance in LinkedIn
Just that one sentence has made my day today.
Why? Because in order for me to continue serving my clients – truly serve them in line with my own values and integrity; be the person my clients know will serve them with excellence and energy – I need to ABC…
Always Be Learning.
So going back to where I started this conversation…what can I possibly learn from listening to the same content again and again and again.
Here’s the answer; Mastery comes from Repetition

Ever had that moment where you’ve watched a film more than once and the 2nd time you watched it, you realised you had missed something the first time you watched it?
The same goes for knowledge. Each time you hear it, learn it, listen to it, consume it – you get something out of it.
Too many people learn something once and then think they know it all. That’s it; finished product.
That is now how you will gain mastery. To get good at something – you learn it once.
To be GREAT at something – you need repetition and consistency.
You must aim for MASTERY
So I will leave you with this…
Think about what you need to MASTER more and make a decision to take ACTION on it.
Happy Friday
