How to achieve a fast page speed score?
There a quite a few different factors that influence webpage loading times. For starters it’s important to consider where the server is located, where the users are located and where the testing server is located. So for example: If a website is hosted on a server in Australia, then theoretically it should serve data a lot quicker to users in Australia. If the intended audience of a website is not primarily aimed at Australians it can make much more sense to serve the data from somewhere closer to the intended audience. We also need to consider that when using speed testing websites like Google Page Speed Insights, Web Page Test, Pingdom and GT Metrix the distance from the test servers to the websites server will impact the time it takes to read the first bite and to measure the server response time. On top of all that we also need to consider the server load and performance along with the performance of the website.
