How to ACE your content

This is the last of the series of Newsletters created around the content created for the #LICreatorAccelerator program for #tranquilthursdays!
?The creator accelerator program was an amazing way to connect with you & share my thoughts. It was also a way to access all the various tools that otherwise I would not have tried. My birthday this year was joyful when I got the mail from LinkedIn that I was selected. The only social media platform I was on, gave me the best birthday gift I could ever imagine.
?From June 1st began an amazing journey of creator swings. In the last 10 weeks, we have had many learnings, amazing community connections, content creators as mentors & a lovely cohort of friends!
?Dedicating it to the amazing cohort of people who have taught me so much unknowingly! “You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.” ―?Kahlil Gibran’s words were beautifully taught to us by most of the people of the cohort who so easily shared what they knew & were ready for any kind of collaboration.
The clear learning from this cohort has been on how to ACE your content when you put it out there.
?Authenticity: When you create content, remember to be yourself. There is content all around you. Be alert to it. If there is something that touches you or has helped you, it will definitely help someone else who could benefit. Not everything that goes Viral is good content. Focus therefore on staying true to what resonates with you.?Sometimes it may not be read by a few people, but that can be content that can help you become visible with the audience that you are targeting. This can, in turn, translate to business which can be long term. So, stay authentic, write what appeals to you & collaborate with those whose content you like. Find your voice & stay true to it.
?Brene Brown says it powerfully, “Authenticity is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It's about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let our true selves be seen.”
Consistency: Pushing yourself to share what resonates. To look around and co-create. To show up almost every day with content that reveals who you are & what you want to express. Every day is not the same. Accept yourself, your ups and downs. Stay focussed on sharing it out there. Stay close to whom you want to be and be vulnerable at times if you do not feel up all the time. Push yourself to share that but do write. What you build over a period of time is the following. Do not take your followers for granted. They liked your content, so stay true to it.

Luis Garcia says it best, “Consistency is harder when no one is clapping for you. You must clap for yourself during those times, you should always be your biggest fan.”
Engagement: Arianna Huffington’s book,?Thrive, which focuses on how we can redefine success has this amazing quote. “Linda Stone worked on emerging technologies at both Apple and Microsoft in the 1980s and ’90s. In 1997, she coined the term ‘continuous partial attention' to describe the state of always being partly tuned into everything while never being completely tuned in to anything. Now it feels like a good three-word description of modern life.”
When you are committed to your content you will focus on giving it completely. The length of the content is not important. Whether it is a poll, a short post, or an image post, what we need not always focus on is for the reader to think or have an “aha”. Sometimes a subtle message with a smile can also be equally powerful. Remember, what got you thinking or questioning could trigger good engagement!
To make ACE your principle for content creation remember these golden words of Kerry Washington, “I don't have to be perfect. All I have to do is show up and enjoy the messy, imperfect, and beautiful journey of my life.”
Listen & follow the #voiceinme. It is amazing to get in touch with the magic you can create!
