Hello everyone and happy Saturday,
As I sit here at the Amsterdam airport, I reflect upon one of the most busy weeks again. I was in the U.S. attending a global analyst conference. At the same time, my 2024 report on Future of Work was published and there are so many conversations, communications across the globe I had to be a part of.
So, to start off, I want to inform you that the 2024 ISG Provider Lens reports for Digital Workplace Services - U.S. and Solutions - Global are now published. While the global solutions report positions software and technology providers in the DEX and Connected and Collaborative Work space, the U.S. report covers the managed workplace service providers in the U.S. You can find more details about the solutions report here:
And about the U.S. services report here:
Let's look at some related and other updates from the past week.
End user technology
ISG's new report on DEX
ISG (Information Services Group) has released its new report on DIgital Employee Experience (DEX) solutions, written by me. The report is available to the subscribed clients of ISG Research. It is available here:
While modern DEX solutions continue to expand and include elements other than observability and visibility, clients aren't maturing that fast. Here is a quick teaser about the report.
1E gets ahead in FedRAMP certification and partners with Goliath Technologies
1E announced that it has achieved NIST SP800-53 security standard, a key requirement for FedRAMP. More details here:
This is significant. There are other DEX providers on the path of getting FedRAMP but they havent yet got the NIST standard. (Some have achieved FIPS standard more known for cryptographic solutions). Since DEX is key for enhanced digital experience with workplace technologies, federal agencies strongly need a strong solution such as 1E for supporting their end users.
1E also announced a new partnership with Goliath Technologies for the healthcare industry. More details here:
Goliath Technologies is good at monitoring virtual desktop and end-user computing environments within healthcare and clinician technology environments. Combining this monitoring with 1E's strong experience management capabilities will further enhance the healthcare and clinician clients' ability to provide a comprehensive IT experience.
Omnissa has a new design
Omnissa announced a new look and feel and design for its platform. More details here:
I liked the color palette to distinguish between Horizon, UEM, experience management, and other products. Omninssa Connect is also a great way to showcase to a user all the products they are currently using, and more importantly, those that they CAN use in addition.

Lenovo's analyst event
I attended 联想 global industry analyst conference in Bellevue, WA this past week. More details here:
Lenovo progresses strongly on its AI vision. Through its Services and Solutions Group (SSG) it also offers managed workplace services and according to my research, Lenovo's growth in the space is exceptional compared to many big providers. It has aggressive targets and strong focus on specialized end user technology services.
Atos launches XOC in collaboration with Nexthink
源讯 has announced its Experience Operations Center (XOC) in collaboration with Nexthink this past week at the Nexthink annual conference Experience Next. More details here:
I saw the details and demo of this XOC when I met the Atos digital workplace services team. This great solution covers diverse aspects of technology that can impact user experience, not just endpoint devices but also contact centers, integrations, ServiceNow, DAP etc. This will be a great differentiator for Atos.
Connected and Collaborative Solutions
ISG's new report on connected and collaborative solutions
ISG (Information Services Group) has released its new report on connected and collaborative work solutions, written by yours truly.
This report analyzes technology providers from diverse software solutions categories that address the requirement for a connected workspace that also involves collaborative work management. The lines between work management and work itself are blurred, and clients would tend to leverage the best out of their existing solution investments. More details here:
That's all for the week, folks. It seems difficult to get a new edition next week because of some personal commitments. It could be the first week, we miss if we did.
