How to Accelerate Trust on LinkedIn

To take trust for granted or to ignore its impact on your performance would be a big mistake! In his insightful book, ?????? ?????????? ???? ??????????, Stephen M. R. Trust is essential for synergistic teamwork, collaboration, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. Of course, trust in a salesperson or a brand is ?????????????????? ?????? ??????????. Fill in the blank: "People prefer to do business with people they know, like, and _____" ??

Trust is multi-faceted. It includes all or some of the following components: ??????????????????, ????????????????????, ??????????????????????, ????????????????????, ?????? ??????????????????????????. Like generosity, trust is reciprocal. You get more by giving more.

Some factors require time, because your ???????????????????? for honesty and doing what you say you are going to do is based on past performance. However, there are ways to accelerate trust.

Humans can instinctively perceive true authenticity, empathy, and sincere caring. They don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Paradoxically, what should be the easiest trust-producing behavior, simply being authentically transparent, seems to be the hardest, because it makes us feel vulnerable.

If you post videos of your training or interviews you have had on podcasts, you will take advantage of "non-verbal" communication (voice and body language). People will sense your sincerity.

What you say about your competence is, of course, important, but how you say it is equally impactful. The quality of your writing and the caring expressed in your ??????????????-?????????????? ???????????????? can inspire confidence. The authenticity of your About section communicates your sincerity.

Your Education and Experience sections indicate your competence, as do Endorsements in your Skills section. Recommendations "Received" give "social proof" of your character and competence. Recommendations "Given" show your attitudes and values.

People infer your character from your Volunteer Work section.

The "content" you post can establish your "personal brand" as an authority. It can also inspire confidence in you as a person.

Meaningful comments on others' posts say a lot about your knowledge and your way of thinking. They are read not only by the author of the post but also by Followers of the author -- expanding your reach. Engaging in meaningful conversations by direct Messages can build trust and well as friendship.

Even if your content does not directly showcase your expertise, mere familiarity with your name, face, and headline increase confidence in you. Psychologically, ???????????? ???????? ???? ?????????? ???????? ????????'???? ???????????????? ????????. This is why politicians post their names on signs. Showing up in many places will boost trust in your personal brand.

Trust is something that must be earned. So the question is how do you earn trust? I believe that it is a matter of time. The old adage of "time tested" may be key in earning that trust. No one trusts someone at first blush.
