How 4 Internships Built My Skills and Led to a Full-Time Job

Hi Team,

I’m Tarun, and I have taken on a one-year challenge to give back to our community by sharing what I’ve learned over the past nine years of working with six startups. I will share my insights on how to find a job, how to clear an interview, sales, management, leadership, startup and business, money/finance, and entrepreneurship, and how I have taken each step to be in the top 1%.

Before I started working full-time, I did four internships. Each one taught me something useful. After my last work project brought in $10M in sales around the world, I was offered a full-time job. This experience made me even more interested in sales, and I eventually started looking for a career in IT sales.

The internships taught me important skills, but going from internships to a full-time job was harder than I thought it would be. After starting my first IT Sales?job, I fell for a scam that cost me money. For three months, I only got 60% of my salary.

  1. Get Real-World Experience: Internships gave me real-world knowledge that I needed before I could start working full-time. My most recent internship had a big effect on my life because I managed a project that brought in $10 million in sales worldwide. This success not only made me feel better about myself, but it also made new possibilities possible in the future.
  2. Grow Your Network: Through my internships, I made strong ties in my field. The managing director of the company where I did my last job asked me to present my work to?all the departmental?heads, old interns, and new interns about how well my project went. This exposure was very helpful and led to an offer of a full-time?job. These connections have helped me in my work and will continue to do so.
  3. Learn Important Skills: Each internship helped me get better at skills that companies want. One example is that my last internship helped me get better at project management and sales, which makes me a stronger job prospect. When I later moved into IT Sales, these skills were very important.
  4. Fill In The Blanks: For me, internships were a way to get from college/Master’s?to full-time work. They made it easier for me to start working, even though my first full-time job was hard. Even though I lost money by falling for a scam, the skills I learned through internships helped me get through it and move forward in my work.

The internships I did were highly crucial for the development of my work. They gave me useful knowledge, a strong network, and essential skills. My internships gave me knowledge and connections that helped me get through my first job, which was hard.

An internship is a vital component of building a job. They give you real-world experience, helpful contacts, and the chance to improve your skills, all of which can make a big difference when you start working full-time. Even though there were problems, the things I learned in my internships helped me in the beginning of my work.

Getting an internship is a great way to learn and advance in college.?
