How This 20th Century Composer's Works Relate to Real Estate

Maurice Ravel's (1875-1937) string quartet has an interesting connection to real estate. Ravel’s music is known as impressionistic. It was a style that was inspired by the artwork do Claude Monet.
There are three main characteristics to this style of music.
2. The second characteristic is that the music has more fluid and freeform rhythm. You can’t really always tap the beat to it. You can hear an example of this in Mvt 1, measure 37:
3. The third characteristic is that these composers chose to focus on presenting feelings and moods rather than these big dramatic storylines of the music that came before it.
Here is where the connection to real estate exists.
This third characteristic is almost exactly in alignment with the saying, 'People will forget what you said or did, but they’ll never forget how you made them feel.'
Impressionistic composers understood this deeply. Melodies can be forgotten but the emotional impact of music stays with you.
In real estate this is very similar. My clients might forget what I said and did for them through all the twists and turns of what is a very complex process, but they’ll always remember how I made them feel. My goal? To have them remember feeling protected, understood, energized, and thankful.
