Houston Suffers
The photo above was taken by a Moore Archeological Consulting employee of a Coast Guard rescue not far from the house where she is sheltering from the seemingly never-ending effects of Harvey. I am very concerned for her and the other employees who live scattered across the counties that make up Greater Houston as it continues to rain, dams are over-topped and levees fail, even as the tropical storm creeps away. I have been personally fortunate at my residence, and likewise I can report that the offices of Moore Archeological Consulting remain dry and unaffected. I'm the only person at the office today, as travel from much farther than the mile away I live is still very hazardous due to flooded street and highways. And I can hear Coast Guard helicopters flying overhead even from here. So please heed appeals for assistance to the Red Cross and other disaster relief agencies.
