Housekeeping AND Learning & Development are like TWO best friends.

"Red thread is the legend that hails like many beautiful myths from Japan. The basis of this legend is that everyone's little finger is tied to an invisible red string that will lead him or her to another person to which the other end is tied and with whom they have an important story" i found my red thread theory for Housekeeper and a Trainer.
On this #internationalhousekeepingweek, i owe a salute to my friend at work from housekeeping. Below is my theory of thoughts to find the red thread work connection between a Housekeeper and a L&D professional.
There is not much in common between the two but they both hang out because it is pure good rapport building and I truly wish that my thoughts would truly help both hoteliers find a connection deeper and dearer.
My personal theory
Place - Personality : AESTHETICS
One common thread that both are tied to is that one deals with keeping the #place-aesthetics of the hotel or the resort and the other works to keep up the #personality-aesthetics of the people working in that hotel or resort. Both focus on a wide space of a task which only can be handled by those who know the art of finding their way through the maze making them amazing people out of the lot.

Things - Thoughts : EYE FOR DETAIL
If you have an eye for detail or a fine/good/keen eye for detail, you are good at noticing small but important things that other people might not notice.
One of the core competencies of a Housekeeper who must know the alignment of #things and so is true for a Trainer who must know the alignment of #thoughts.
Levitating - Learning : CREATIVITY
Creativity is the key tool of an housekeeper who must constantly have a mind towards creating a #Levitating experience for the guests and it is the same for a trainer whose core or central competency is constantly find creative ways to make information transferred to a colleague to enhance their #Learning experience.
Ideas - Information : INNOVATION
New is always in fashion and it is always the new norm. A housekeeper must brainstorm ideas on a daily basis. An experience is always created in terms of touching the heart of the guest with something they never expected. A housekeeping professional must find innovative ways to grab a guests attention by constantly using the trick of innovativeness. Likewise, the same goes to the Trainer who must hunt for new information which is easily available virtually and make it innovatively unique to share with their learners so that they are driven to learn from them.
My theory is driven from the school of thought that we all are connected, we just need to find the thread.
