If Florida Senate Bill 280 becomes law, it allows:

• Local governments to remove vacation rental registrations based on undefined violations.
• Strict maximum occupancy limitations of max 2 guests per bedroom + an additional 2 in a common space. KeyData estimates this would impact up to 40% of vacation rentals throughout the state and could mean a drop of more than 1/3 of revenue.
• Vacation rental taxes through unlimited fees.
• NO consumer protection requirements
