House and land is booming but what happens when the grants dry up?
Property professionals in the house and land development space are one of the few groups that are thriving in the current environment. Sales are being spurred on by Government incentives and buyer FOMO.
Today I am catching up with three Land developers who have 1,000's of lots in the market to understand how this influx of buyers is effecting their businesses and importantly understand what they are doing to prepare for when the grants dry up.
As one of the largest developers in the world, Risland ventured into Australia in 2016 with major land acquisitions in Sydney and Melbourne. One of its current developments Windermere Estate will become home to 5,500 people in the next 10 years.
New Style Developments is a boutique property development company based in Queensland. Jim and his team develop boutique land subdivisions, townhouses and infill projects.
Sightstone has been actively developing residential and commercial projects across Asia & Australia for the past 20 years. It has a successful delivery history of medium-density projects and master-planned communities in Victoria.
According to our latest industry survey, only 35% off-the-plan developers who can still meet their sales target for 2020.
