Back in the saddle for me...it's been a minute.
The first House of Genius SoCo was held today at the Emergent Campus in Florence, Colorado. Big props to Barn Owl and Spinning Mandalas for facing the gauntlet from some incredible minds. Our first rural Genius was every bit as engaging and inspirational as anything I’ve seen around the world.
The density of DIY talents and minds that are "hiding" in the rural parts of our world are no longer defined by the land in which they choose to live but by the creativity, problem-solving mindset, and get-shit-done attitude they bring to their lives and their work every day. This is a talent pool that has long been forced to do more with less and it shows in their focus, no-nonsense approach to the issues at hand.
Urbanites, you've officially been put on notice. We are all better when we get out of our own way and work together. Let's get to work!
