HOUSE OF CARDS

Hostile and Harsh.

Outside places, other faces.

Where did the humanity go?

Is it still here?

May need to serve a cup straight up.

It needs to be refilled.

I don’t want to see it all, but lately it has been center stage.

All the edges are rough, and some are shattered.

I think so much was broken already but they left it hidden.

And they may be hiding more still.

We need some justice instead of domination.

We need some leadership instead we are dealt with egos.

I have faith in people for they are the power, the strength and compassion.

I wonder for it to rebuilt will it have to crumble?

Because what stands now is so shallow.

It is brittle and could break.

It can’t support all the lies it has been built with.

I have faith that we as people have passion, empathy,

courage and intention to make it a better place.

A giving world.

So let the house of cards fall.
